We are now the largest privately owned auction company in Arizona...
Are we? We don't know. The definition of "privately owned"
makes it impossible to tell if one private company is "larger" than
another. None of our privately owned competitors make their sales
numbers public so there is no way to tell which of the five large auction
companies in Arizona is the "largest".
This is why we were surprised (but not shocked) when a couple of you
brought it to our attention that one of our competitors is now claiming to
be the "largest privately owned auction company in Arizona". We were
surprised because it is simply an impossible statement to accurately make,
but not shocked because the company in question...well...you know.
What difference does it make anyway? Another of our competitors also
claims to be the "fastest growing auction company in Arizona" - another
statistic that is impossible to determine and therefore the statement is
false. So whether we are the largest auction company in Arizona or
the fastest growing is irrelevant to us. All we want to be is the
BEST auction company in Arizona.
We LISTEN to YOU. What that means to us right now is that we make
your experience better at our regular auction facility. Although we
had three auction rings going at our last auction, we didn't finish till
6PM. So starting in October we are going to hold two regularly
scheduled auctions, on the first AND third Wednesdays of each month.
This should reduce the size of our auctions and make it easier and more
convenient for you because even if you want to bid on every asset in our
auction, it should not take more than 4 or 5 hours.
We are also completely revamping our clerking and checkout software and
procedures to make sure that we are able to speed up the checkout process.
We know that the lines at our last auction were way too long and we are
going to make sure that we are able to serve you faster and better at our
next auction.
We are, and have always been, a state-wide auction company. Another
outrageous and untrue statement made by one of our competitors is that
they are the only state-wide auction company in Arizona simply because
they conduct auctions in Tucson as well as Phoenix. This year we
have conducted auctions in, or sold assets from, every city in the Phoenix
Metro Area, every city in the Tucson Metro Area, Flagstaff, Page, Sedona,
Prescott, Chambers, Bullhead City, Lake Havasu, Show Low, Concho and many
others.
Besides us, there are two other large, state-wide auction companies who
have been in business for more than 20 years and don't make outrageous and
untrue claims or comparisons about themselves and their competitors.
Our state is well-covered by these three very professional and experienced
auction companies. Between the three of us we sell well over $100
million in assets per year. In Arizona there is simply no reason to
do business with auction companies who make false claims.
